HIU SERVICE & MAINTENANCE LTD


Established in October 2022 with over 8 years experience within the District Communal Heating Industry. Communal heating is a system where heating and hot water is produced from a centralised boiler located within a plantroom. We're here to provide servicing, installation, maintenance and repair on your HIU (Heat Interface Unit) located within the individual dwellings. We are a reliable, honest and trustworthy company that you could count on for a good quality service and we take pride in our work as well as providing excellent customer satisfaction.

HIU (Heat Interface Unit)


  • Heat Interface Unit (HIU) is typically used in the district communal heat networks system. It transfers heat from the community heating network into your home's central heating system.
  • It utilises either one or two-plate heat exchanger where heat is transferred from the central boiler into instantaneous heating and hot water to be used at an individual's discretion.
